This is one of the major differences between this and waxing legs and other more sensitive areas. Wax products are made with resins which adhere to skin cells and because wax sticks to any surface its applied to, pulling it away causes unwarranted pain. When AP sugar is removed it never adheres to the live epidermis therefore when it’s removed it only gently exfoliates dead epidermis, leaving you silky smooth.
- The sugaring technique extracts hair in its natural direction of growth. Waxing removes the hair against the natural direction (causing undue levels of pain).
