Wearing sunscreen (also known as SPF) on your face is incredibly important to protect your skin from the sun’s UV rays. Not only can UV rays cause sunburns, but they can also lead to long-term skin damage, such as wrinkles and age spots. In addition, the sun can increase the risk of skin cancer, making it even more important to protect your skin.
Sunscreen should be applied all year round, as the sun’s UV rays are still present even on cloudy days. The product should be applied 15 to 30 minutes before going outside, and it should be reapplied every two hours or after getting wet or sweating.
